Haryana Police on Thursday stated it arrested an Military staff for allegedly passing secret knowledge to Pakistani intelligence company ISI.

Rohit Kumar was once arrested on Wednesday night on a tip-off, it stated.

Kumar is a resident of Kodwa Khurd village within the Naraingarh space in Ambala district. Recently, he’s hired as Havaldar in an engineering regiment of the Military in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, the police stated.

He had come to his village a couple of days again on go away, senior police officer Hamid Akhtar stated.

Mr Akhtar stated police had gained an enter about Kumar and at the foundation of which he was once taken into custody.

Mr Akhtar stated Kumar joined the Military in 2012 and were indulging in espionage actions since 2018.

Police stated right through interrogation, Kumar confessed that he had shared some knowledge with the Pakistani intelligence company.

A case has been registered in opposition to him beneath the provisions of the Respectable Secrets and techniques Act, they stated.
