“Power,” the rapper-turned-actor answered when requested concerning the persona’s motivation. “I think Davis eventually wants a seat at the table. He wants to be one of the smartest people in the room, if not the smartest. He’s very ambitious.”

And he isn’t the one one.

Season two of the Starz drama kicked off Sunday and continues to apply the tumultuous lifetime of Tariq St. Patrick and the ones in his universe.

It is the continuation of the unique “Power” and a part of the franchise created via Courtney A. Kemp.

She instructed CNN the display happened partially as a result of Starz sought after a 7th season of “Power” and that wasn’t imaginable.

“I was like ‘There isn’t another season of this to tell,'” Kemp stated. “But there is a way to keep the story going and explore different piece of it and that’s where [“Energy Guide II: Ghost”] came from.

This season serves up “Extra of what you prefer” she said.

“You’ll be able to be yelling on the tv,” Kemp said. “For sure some thrills, some chills, some homicide, a bit of intercourse. You understand, the standard cocktail.”

Shane Johnson and Larenz Tate portrayed Cooper Saxe and Rashad Tate respectively on the original “Energy” and in the sequel.

Both said they are enjoying playing characters that many viewers love to hate.

“It is a departure from my actual lifestyles, as a result of in actual lifestyles I am a excellent man,” Tate said. “I am all excellent in actual lifestyles, so it is roughly great to have a laugh and play a little of a tyrant every now and then.”

“It is fascinating since the display is inbuilt one of these means that the heroes of the display are doing numerous ‘dangerous issues’ like killing other folks and stuff like that,” Johnson said. “I believe Cooper Saxe thinks of himself ‘I am the hero of my very own tale.’ I’m going off the rails a bit of bit and I start to compromise my ethics, however I am all the time after one thing.”
