Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur will be seen sharing the screen space for the first time in their upcoming film, ‘Jersey’.

While fans are eagerly waiting to watch their onscreen chemistry in the movie, did you know that cops had got angry when Shahid had romanced Mrunal on the bike during the shooting of the film? Yes, you read that right!

Shahid, who recently graced Kapil Sharma’s comedy chat show, revealed that cops were upset with the actors after they shot for a romantic scene on the bike. Shahid added that later in order to pacify them he used to shoot scenes on the bike with the kid in the movie, showing that he is also a father in the movie. Shahid left the audience in splits with this revelation.

Talking about shooting with kids, Shahid said, “I am really scared of acting with children and animals. I find it really dangerous to act with them. They do what they want, they break your rhythm, and by the time they give a good shot, you are half-dead with frustration.”

‘Jersey’ is an official Hindi remake of the Telugu film of the same name. The original starred Nani in the lead role. The film was supposed to hit the theatres on December 31, 2021. However, owing to the rising cases of COVID-19 in the country and the shutting down of the cinema halls, the makers have pushed the release of the movie indefinitely.
